Bowling :—— If we talk about the bowling of Mumbai Indians, then initially the bowler was longing for a wicket. The first success for 72 runs came to Mumbai Indians. Rahul Chahar bowled brilliantly, taking four wickets for 27 runs in 4 overs. Trent Boult bowled four overs with two wickets conceding 27 runs. At the same time Krunal Pandya got 1 wicket. The goal was not so big but the bowling of Mumbai Indians did not allow the Kolkata Knight Riders to reach the target.

After this, the Kolkata Knight Riders kept falling wickets one after another from the 4 teams that were completely shattered. For Kolkata, Nitish Rana contributed 57 runs in most 47 balls while Shubman Gill scored 33 runs in 24 balls. Apart from these, no batsman crossed the double-digit mark. And the whole team could only manage 142 runs after losing 7 wickets in 20 overs and lost the match.

Bowling :—— Talking of bowling for Kolkata Knight Riders, Russell bowled brilliantly and took five wickets for 15 runs in just 2 overs. Cummins also bowled well, taking two wickets for 24 runs in 4 overs. Prasidh also got a breakthrough but proved to be a bit more expensive. Overall Kolkata Knight Riders bowling was very good due to which Mumbai Indians could score only 152 runs.
