Bowling :—— If we talk about Chennai bowling then it was very good. Rajasthan had got a huge target for victory, due to which the rest of the character was played by the bowlers. Moeen Ali was the most successful bowler for Chennai, taking three wickets for just 7 runs in 3 overs. Sam Curran and R Jadeja also achieved two successes, bowling brilliantly. While DJ Bravo and Shardul Thakur got one wicket each. Chennai did not allow Kolkata to reach the target due to good bowling.

Batting :—- Rajasthan Royals got off to a perfect start to chase down Chennai’s target of 189 runs. But none of the batsmen performed well except Jos Buttler. Jos Buttler scored 49 runs off 35 balls. Rajasthan wickets kept falling continuously, due to which Rajasthan Royals were able to score only 143 runs after losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. For Rajasthan, Rahul Tewatia contributed 20 runs while Jaydev Unadkat contributed 24 runs.
